The main aim of this project was to investigate the effects of surface roughness on the over the aerodynamics of a wing. 

The findings of this research project has aided the need for further research in this area to improve understanding of effects of surface roughness on aerodynamics. 

I followed a series of procedure ranging from designing, manufacturing, assembly, tunnel experiment, data interpolation, and report writing. 

This task encompassed preliminary design procedure for a twin jet passenger aircraft to accommodate passenger flight cabin crew capacity of 130 with the consideration of safety and manufacturing cost. This was a delightful group project. 

This was to understand the designing of aircraft parts such as wing, empennage, propulsion system, and fuselage while considering various performance factors of the mission profile. 

I was responsible for the designing of the aircraft via CAD. 

The activities involved 2D aerodynamic analysis to understand the effects of air foil design on the aircraft performance. 

The purpose of this project was to understand the effect of variance of Reynolds number, angle of attack, aspect ratio, and air foil on aircraft performance parameters. 

I derived conclusions by plotting the behavior of aspect ratio against Reynolds number, aspect ratio against induced drag coefficient, angle of attack against lift coefficient, angle of attack against coefficient of drag, lift coefficient versus drag coefficient, pressure,  and skin friction wrap parameters. And no, I didn't use a crystal ball, but XFOIL!

The initiate was a Can sized satellite designing competition to output recordings of temperature, pressure, and altitude peaks. 

This competition was part of UKSEDS, offering a stellar networking opportunity and exposure to satellite competitions.

This was a group project and my responsibility was to direct the mechanical design, data, power, and avionics subsystems.
